Biscuit Mix

What is biscuit mix and where would I find it? I saw it in a banana-nut muffin recipe.
--Conne

Hi Conne, “Biscuit mix” or “baking mix”  is simply a powdered biscuit mix (usually containing flour, shortening or vegetable oil, baking powder and salt) that is used to make biscuits, pancakes and baked goods. Bisquick is probably the best known name-brand baking/biscuit mix. You can find biscuit mix in the baking aisle of your supermarket, near the flour.
