Braised Short Ribs
I love Grandma’s Kitchen recipes, there are a lot that have become a tradition around holidays and at the dinner table. I get so many compliments on them when I take them to someone’s house and I always have people ask me for the recipe. I have lost some over the years, but was delighted to find some of my favorites on your website. One recipe that we loved, but that is missing from the site, is braised short ribs -- That was amazing!!! I would be forever grateful if you could add that recipe to this website for me! Thanks again.

Hello Priscilla! Thanks so much for your kind words about Grandma's Kitchen! Do you mean the short ribs that use lemonade concentrate? I love that one too! And since you asked so nicely, I’ve added to the site: Tangy Braised Short Ribs. I hope it’s as good as you remember – please let me know!

QuestionHey Betty, I once had your recipe for cinnamon buns but I misplaced it. If possible I would like to have it, through any method. I am serving breakfast this coming Saturday, so I will need it quickly. Also I had tried the recipe on a few occasions but the buns didn't seem to cook all the way through (they were so good they were eaten anyway though). Could you tell me how to correct this? Thanks. --AlexisMarch 2012

My family and I would love to have this gorgeous dessert on our Thanksgiving table again. Please help! Thanks. --Tiffany DuggerMarch 2012

Question
I have to make cut-out cookies for a wedding and decorate them like penguins. Black icing is so hard to keep a true black. What type of icing would you recommend? Royal, quick pour, fondant or something else? And how do I keep the black as black as when I first make it? –Kathy
