Brining Turkey

How do you brine burkey? --Juanita
Hi Juanita! Brining a turkey is not difficult--as long as you have the space in the refrigerator to do it!  EatTurkey.com, the website of the National Turkey Federation, has some excellent instructions at their  Brined Roasted Turkey recipe. You can go ahead and roast the turkey using their recipe, or for a little variety, try one of my roasted turkey recipes, like New England Turkey, Holiday Stuffed Turkey, and Turkey & Stuffing.

Do you have a recipe for any zucchini desserts? I think my mom tried zucchini in a pie instead of apple and it tasted just like apple. I have a recipe for bread, but that is it. Thanks, --Anishka

  • Question

Do you have a recipe that was popular in the 60's, it was a frozen fruit salad, using fruit cocktail & I think maybe cream cheese. It was something white & creamy, but not sweet. Mom would freeze it in the ice cubes tray. The kind with the removable lever cube divider. I believe she would serve on a lettuce leaf, maybe with a dab of mayo and a cherry. Thanks.
