Creamy Cheese Potatoes

I have had your recipe cards for years and love them!! My son's favorite is the creamy cheese potatoes, but I cannot find the recipe card anymore. Can you please add it? --Debra
Hi Debra, I’m afraid I don’t have a recipe called “Creamy Cheese Potatoes.” Do you mean Potato & Cheese Bake? It’s a wonderful rich dish with cream and two kinds of cheese. Or maybe it’s Rustic Creamed Potatoes, Classic Potatoes au Gratin or Herbed Cheese Potatoes you’re looking for? They are all very cheesy and creamy potato dishes. Hope this helps!

My recipe says to add “cooked chicken.” I have some frozen chicken breasts; how should I cook them? And how much chicken do I need to make 2 cups chopped chicken?

Hi Betty! My family loves your casseroles and baked dishes, but I’m trying to watch my weight, and also want my kids and husband to eat healthier. How can I “make over” a casserole like your Saucy Beef Parmigiana so it’s healthier and less fatty? --Barbara

I've heard that you can prepare sweet potatoes and all side dishes ahead and then freeze them. If this is done, then how do you prepare them so they're not overcooked on Thanksgiving, i.e., dressing, sweet potatoes, casseroles, etc? --Patty

  • Question
I was wondering if you could add the thumbprint cookies recipe to the site. I had it in my recipe box but it seems to have gone missing, the good recipes always do. I made them 2 years ago as Christmas presents for the homeless and would really like to make them for my kids this year. I remember the filling being preserves and they were so good. Thanks so much! --Jamie Hi Betty. I had a box of your recipes that my mother gave me when I married. Unfortunately, I lost one of my favorites: the thumbprint cookies. It was a sugar cookie with preserves in center. Can you please post that one or send it? Thank you. --Kristina
