I've got a wonderful date bar: Chewy Trail Bars are made with dates, oats, almonds and pecans, are a snap to put together, and bake up in just half an hour!

I need to make a potato bake and have never made one before. I think I can make it with cream, cheese, bacon, and thinly sliced potatoes, but not sure how to assemble or if I cook the potatoes before baking. Please help!
