Eggnog Pound Cake
Do you have a recipe for eggnog pound cake?
--Priscilla
Hello Priscilla,
Well, I don’t have a recipe specifically called “eggnog pound cake,” but my Brown Sugar Pound Cake comes awfully close to what you're looking for. It has 5 eggs and 1/4 cup of rum. You might want to omit the nuts and add a bit of nutmeg for more of an eggnog flavor. And don’t miss my Eggnog Cheesecake for another egg-y holiday dessert!

Question
Can you use olive oil for baking and have the same results? I used extra virgin olive oil in a cornbread recipe and it didn't hold together and the flavor was not there.

We would like some new recipes for boneless pork chops, boneless skinless chicken and fish. Thank you, LoraineMarch 2012

Question
I am puzzled by the puff pastry method… the flour is to be just thrown into the boiling water, won’t it clump? What would happen if the flour and salt was first mixed with a bit of cold water? Would it still clump? Or what would happen? Or has it never been tried this way before?
