I would like to know the best way to make an olive oil-garlic dip for the fresh Italian bread I make with my meals for my man.
–Laura Ann
Laura Ann: You could use the sauce from my Pasta with Garlic & Parsley recipe – just serve it in small bowls, without the pasta. And you’ll probably want to make double what’s in the recipe; here’s what I would do: Heat 6 tablespoons olive oil in a small pan, add 4 cloves minced garlic and cook over medium heat until softened and golden. Then add chopped fresh parsley, salt and pepper. That’s it!
Or, even better, you could make garlic bread for your guy! Split your Italian bread in half and drizzle the garlic oil over the cut halves. Re-assemble the bread, wrap in foil and then bake in a 350F oven for about 10 minutes. (To make it even tastier, add some butter to the olive oil before adding the garlic.)
Why isn’t my homemade cake as light and fluffy as a cake from a box?
