High-Altitude Cookies

I live at 8000+ foot elevation, and have always loved to bake cookies from scratch. Is there "a rule of thumb" for alterations in baking soda, baking powder, yeast, etc., that I need to know in order to bake something else besides a flat, flat cookies, cake or breads? Thank you.
-Dee

Hi Dee,
I’ve heard from a couple of bakers seeking advice for baking at higher elevations, so you can take a look at my advice for Robert, who wanted to know how to adjust a cake recipe at an elevation of 4,600 feet. You can take those guidelines and apply them to cookies or other baking recipes, but keep in mind that since you’re living at a higher elevation, so you should start by using the higher end of the measurement recommendations. I hope this helps you bake some delicious cookies!
