Homemade Doughnuts

Hi Betty; I was just wondering if you had any recipes on how to make donuts. My 12-year-old son loves them and I thought it would be a good treat for him to help me make them. Thanks! --Michele
Hi Michele! I’ve got just the ticket for you! My recipe for Old-Fashioned Doughnuts is a traditional, from-scratch recipe for deep-fried doughnut goodness!  If you’re not in the mood for making, chilling, and rolling out your own dough, our sister site, www.GreatMealsinUnder30.com, has a quickie recipe, Blueberry Jelly Doughnuts, that uses canned biscuit dough. I think your son would enjoy helping out with both of these recipes!

Hello Betty, You have a great site. I am living in Kansas and originally from Boston, MA, and was wondering if you could maybe list a recipe on how to make New England Clam Chowder. (Although I’m not sure where I am going to get clams for the chowder.) Again, I want to thank you for this wonderful site. --Archie
