Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
I am looking for a homemade spaghetti sauce. My mother would make one that she would cook today to serve tomorrow. She passed away in 2001 and I never got her recipe. Can you help me?

Hi Nancy,
I can’t promise you that it’s as good as your mom’s, but my Big Batch Spaghetti Sauce is pretty darn good. If you don’t feel like making a big batch, check out my how-to on Homemade Pasta Sauce for a quick (but authentic) sauce. Feel free to make it your own by sauteing onions, mushrooms, and/or peppers with the garlic before adding the tomatoes.

Will beef be cooked thoroughly if I don't brown it first? A beef and noodles recipe I want to try adds ingredients to uncooked beef that then is cooked in oven for 2 to 3 hours.

Thanks but i have my own-home-made-sauce-for pasta i have been making it sence i was 18yr's old I use it for my home made Lasagne or Spaghetti pasta and I have always been asked for my recipe! I just tell people to just to try to taste the herbs in what ever they think they taste and try it.If it doesn't taste like it should than try,try again thats how i learnd and that's that!! F.J.B.
