How to measure 2/3 or 3/4 cup
I would like to know if I don't have a 2/3 or 3/4 cup or spoon, what would be the measurements? Thanks.
-Vanessa
Hi Vanessa,
Do you happen to have a 1/3 cup measuring cup? Because if you do, the easiest way to get 2/3 of a cup is to simply use your 1/3 measure twice. Otherwise, if you don’t have a 1/3 cup measure, 10 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons is also equal to 2/3 cup.
As for 3/4 cup, if you have a 1/4 cup measure you can just use that 3 times (or 1/2 cup plus 1/4 cup also equals 3/4 cup).
Head over to my article on Measuring Basics for useful information that will help you measure ingredients accurately when preparing your favorite recipes!
