Meatballs and Gravy

I would like to make Grandma's noodles with meatballs and gravy.

—Dorothy

Hi Dorothy,

Head right over to my Spaghetti & Meatballs. It’s a traditional Italian-American recipe of meatballs made from ground beef served over pasta with spaghetti sauce—sometimes affectionately referred to as “gravy” in some Italian households!

Hi Granny, I am looking for a seafood recipe I thought I saw in your recipes. It was a salmon with orange marmalade dish. Did I see it on your wonderful recipes or somewhere else? Keep up the good work! Your recipes are sooooo yummy. Many thanks, --Mollie “K”

  • Question

Back in the 1990′s I collected Easy Everyday Cooking recipe cards. There was a recipe for ‘cheesy chicken roll-ups,’ with pounded chicken breasts stuffed with spinich, and I think ricotta & mozzarella. I secured them with toothpicks and remember browning in skillet, after that my mind goes blank. There was a cheese sauce that was poured over the stuffed rolled breasts baked in the oven. I’ve been looking for this recipe for almost 5 years, since noticing that it walked off somewhere. Can you help?

I live at 8000+ foot elevation, and have always loved to bake cookies from scratch. Is there "a rule of thumb" for alterations in baking soda, baking powder, yeast, etc., that I need to know in order to bake something else besides a flat, flat cookies, cake or breads? Thank you.
