Pecan Pie

Can you please give a pecan pie recipe?
I have a couple of pecan pie recipes you might be interested in. Country Pecan Pie is a traditional pecan pie made with corn syrup, eggs, brown sugar and lots of pecans. My Sweet Bean & Pecan Pie adds a can of pinto beans to the traditional pie (trust me, it’s delicious). And finally, my chilled No-Bake Pecan Pie is a little different, with a creamy caramel filling topped with toasted pecans. I hope you give one of them a try!

Dear Betty, Because of travel issues, we find ourselves with a much smaller group at Thanksgiving this year. What should I do about the turkey? I still want a full dinner, but don’t want to roast a big bird for just 6 people! --Jeanne

  • Question

How do I make cookies in Nevada??! I live in what is considered high altitude (4200-4300 ft above sea level) and can't seem to get my cookies to rise at all. Quite frankly, I couldn't do it in Oregon either. I have fresh baking powder and baking soda, and the same cookie recipe my family has been using for generations. I just can't get them to rise. Great for hockey pucks though!
