Vegetarian Recipes

Do you have any problems with the vegetarian, vegan ways of eating? I don’t see any meatless, dairyless, etc. recipes being your mainstay.

—Stephen

Hi Stephen!

Since our website highlights easy, traditional recipes for American favorites, we tend to have a lot of hearty, meaty fare that families have loved for years. That said, we do have a number of vegetarian main dishes in our Homestyle Pasta section, like Classic Pesto with Linguine, Fettuccine with Olives, and Pasta with Artichoke Hearts

We also have a number of substantial meatless dishes in the Tasty Side Dishes section that are hearty enough to serve as a main dish, such as Potato & Eggplant Bake, Vegetable Goulash, and Broccoli Souffle.

You can find all of our vegetarian main dishes and hearty sides at our Vegetarian Recipes page. As for vegan recipes, I’m afraid I can’t help you there. However, there are a number of websites that celebrate vegan cooking and feature many meatless, dairyless recipes. Use your favorite search engine to search for “vegan recipes” or “vegan cooking”.

What Others Have To Say

So glad Stephen asked this question I would never have found the broccoli soufflé recipe otherwise. Divine.

Dear Betty, We love your recipes but are on a tight budget. We only buy our groceries for a month at a time so we buy family packs. We divide the meat up in portions for one meal. We would like some new recipes for boneless pork chops, boneless skinless chicken and fish. Thank you, Loraine
