We felt like we were eating in a Chinatown restaurant when Grandma served up this flavorful stir-fry with teriyaki chicken.
Italian sausage, red and green bell peppers and onions all piled high on toasted rolls—enough to handle any appetite!
When Grandma served this spicy Italian-style turnover we'd exclaim, “Mama mia, that’s some Stromboli!”
To make a nicely toasted and pressed panini sandwich, Grandma would place a brick wrapped in foil on top of the sandwich on the grill. 
On the hottest days of summer, Grandma would purchase cooked chicken from the deli.
Topped with feta cheese, kalamata olives and peppers, Greek salad fans will love this pizza.
Grandma's egg salad with fresh parsley and bacon is the best I've ever tasted!
Did You Know?  •    Yam or sweet potato? In America, these words are used interchangeably, but sweet potatoes and yams are not the same; in fact, they are two different species of plant, and to the rest of the world they are recognized as such. True yams are bland, white-fleshed tropical tubers not commonly found in the States. There are two types of sweet potatoes sold in America: pale and orange.
On summer evenings, we would take these turnovers outside and eat them on Grandma's porch.
