Grandma's table was often covered with steaming bowls of fragrant pasta.
The kitchen was so warm and fragrant when stuffed shells were baking.
Because of the broccoli, bacon and nuts, my brother and I called this 'crunchy wheels.'
When Grandma's garden was ready to harvest, we celebrated with this vegetable soup.

I can still see Grandma rolling out pierogi dough, her wooden rolling pin in hand and flour on her nose.
Whenever I feel homesick, I make this pasta so I can feel like I'm back in Grandma's house.
