To keep from having to wash a bowl, Grandma often combined the flour, salt and black pepper in a paper or plastic bag, added the steak cubes, and shook to coat the cubes with the flour mixture. After adding the steak cubes to the skillet, she disposed of the bag.
The smell of hamburgers on the grill reminds me of happy times with family at Grandma’s house.
