Grandma's Secret Trick

Being an experimenter, Grandma liked this dish. She sometimes substituted cooked, drained ground beef or chopped pepperoni for the sausage. Sometimes she used a red bell pepper instead of the green bell pepper and left out the pimiento. Sometimes she used a combination of mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses in place of the Colby and Monterey Jack.
