Grandma's Secret Trick
Grandma's Secret Trick
After experimenting with tomatoes in all states of green, Grandma decided that the best results come from tomatoes that are green but have grown to the proper size. If they are small and green, the sauce may be dry, and the tomatoes will be more tart.
