Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 12 ounces wagon wheel pasta
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) pasta sauce
  • 1 jar (4 1/2 ounces) button mushrooms, drained
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain. Place in a medium bowl.

  2. 2

Meanwhile, cook the sausage in a 10-inch skillet, stirring occasionally, until browned, 4–5 minutes. Stir in the pasta sauce and mushrooms.

  3. 3

Add the sausage mixture to the pasta. Mix well. Stir in 11/2 cups mozzarella and the Parmesan. Spread in an ungreased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.

  4. 4

Bake until heated through, about 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella. Return to oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes longer. Serve hot.
