Who needs heavy tomato sauce? This lemony-fresh pasta dish is so light and creamy—it's a perfect summer supper!

Ingredients

Serves 6 

  • 16 ounces spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 lemons, cut into wedges
Directions
  1. 1

    Cook the spaghetti in a large saucepan of salted water according to the package directions. Drain. Return the drained spaghetti to the pot.

    Add the cream and butter to the pot. Cook over low heat until the butter is melted. Remove from heat.

    Stir the Parmesan, lemon zest, parsley, salt and pepper into the pot. Toss to coat the pasta with the sauce. Divide the pasta among 6 serving plates. Squeeze a fresh lemon wedge over each serving. Garnish with the remaining lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
