Chicken And Potato Gratin

Ingredients
Serves 4
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8 inch thick (about 1 lb.)
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions (about4 medium)
- 10 oz. shredded or chopped cooked chicken (about 2 cups)
- 2 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided
- 3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray an 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Combine the flour, garlic salt and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Add the potatoes and shake until evenly coated.

Layer half of the potatoes, 2 tbsp. onions, half of the chicken, 1 strip crumbled bacon and 1/4 cup Swiss cheese in the prepared baking dish. Pour 1/3 cup cream over the top. Repeat the layers, but without using the bacon and cheese. Cover and refrigerate the remaining bacon and cheese.

Tightly cover the bakingdish with foil. Bake for1 hour. Uncover and topwith the remaining bacon and cheese. Bake untilthe cheese is melted,about 5 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
