The price of pasta varies considerably depending upon the brand. There is no need to buy the expensive imported brand. Any variety made with semolina flour will work just as well.

To save time, use a 26-ounce jar of prepared spaghetti sauce and just add the clams before heating and serving.

Great Pairings

Lemon-Dill Asparagus

When asparagus is out of season, or too pricey for your budget, you can save money and still serve a delicious side dish by using green beans. Choose either fresh green beans or the frozen French-cut variety.
