  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions
  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut pear into 8 slices. Separate crescent rolls.

  2. 2

Place 1 pear slice over the wide edge of each dough triangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll dough to enclose pear. Place pies in a medium baking pan.

  3. 3

Combine butter, sugar and orange juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil, stirring frequently, until sugar is melted, about 1 minute.

For easy cleanup, form the dough into pouches, fill, and bake in extra-large muffin cups.

Creamy Crab Over Puff Pastry

Because of the labor required to clean and pick crabmeat, it can be expensive. The least expensive is frozen claw meat. For a real money saver, try using popcorn or salad shrimp.
