Grandma's Secret Trick
Nana prided herself on making a meal into a colorful presentation. To accomplish this, she sometimes stirred 1/2 cup cooked or thawed frozen green peas into this mushroom sauce. After she poured the sauce into the gravy boat, she dusted the top with a little paprika because she liked its rich red color.
When Grandma served this chicken the first time, Grandpa said,’Pretty exotic food to serve a guy like me.’
