Grandma's Secret Tip
Grandma's Secret Tip
Make no mistake, Grandma was as busy as any modern woman. One thing that helped her save time was that when she prepared any type of cooked chicken, she made a little extra, then chopped and refrigerated it for up to three days. That way, she had chopped chicken ready to make this or any simple chicken meal.

someone asked for the biscuit recipe- the ingredient list calls for frozen ones but no reason why you couldn't make your own baking powder biscuits.
If there isn't a recipe here, there are basic ones online or any decent cookbook would have a recipe.
This is the best chicken and biscuits recipe, ever! It is so convenient using the frozen/thawed Pillsbury Biscuits. I have made this dozens of times with always rave reviews.
Yeah, where is the recipe for the biscuits??? Haha
where is the recipe for the biscuits?
Easy, fast and delicious! My family asks for this delicious meal all the time. I skip the pimiento and add sweet peppers which I cook up with the onion.
This is the very best casserole! When I make this I get so many compliments. I do not use pimiento, I replaced it with a cup of frozen mixed veggies (thawed).
