Crab-Cheese Snacks

Crabmeat is expensive, and cooking and picking crabs is time-consuming. Instead, use one 6-ounce or two 4-ounce cans of crabmeat. Drain and rinse well before using.

Ingredients

Serves 48 

  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 (5-ounce) jar sharp cheese spread
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 6 ounces crabmeat
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 English muffins
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

    Combine butter, cheese spread, Parmesan, mayonnaise, crabmeat, seasoned salt and garlic powder in a medium bowl. Mix well to combine.

    Cut the English muffins into halves. Spread the crabmeat mixture on the muffin halves.

    Arrange muffins on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with paprika.

    Broil until tops are browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from baking sheet. Cut each muffin half into quarters.
