Easy Fried Mozzarella

Ingredients
Serves 24
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 24 bite-size pieces mozzarella cheese (about 8 ounces)
Directions

Heat oil in an electric deep-fryer or small pot to 365°F, or until a bread cube browns in 1 minute. Place flour and bread crumbs in shallow plates.

Combine eggs, water and salt in a small bowl.

Skewer cheese bites on a wooden skewer or chopstick. Roll in flour, then dip in eggs. Repeat coating. Roll in bread crumbs.

Fry mozzarella, a few at a time, in hot oil until browned, about 2 minutes. Remove; drain on paper towels.
