Hearty Party Reuben Bites

Ingredients
Serves 12
- 24 party rye bread slices (about 1/2 of 16-ounce package)
- 1/2 cup prepared Thousand Island dressing
- 6 ounces turkey pastrami or beef pastrami, very thinly sliced
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

Arrange rye bread slices on prepared baking sheet. Bake until lightly toasted, about 5 minutes.

Spread about 1 teaspoon of Thousand Island dressing onto each rye bread slice; top with turkey pastrami, folding pastrami slices to fit bread slices.

Sprinkle each appetizer evenly with about 2 teaspoons shredded Swiss cheese.

Bake until Swiss cheese is melted and appetizers are hot, about 5 minutes.

Top each appetizer evenly with about 2 teaspoons alfalfa sprouts. Arrange appetizers on serving platter and serve.
