This super-pretty punch allowed Grandma to break out the bubbly when the grownups had something to celebrate without anybody overdoing it.

Ingredients

Serves 8 

  • 1 (1.5-liter) bottle champagne, chilled
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled
  • 1 (12-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 1/4 cups frozen raspberries, thawed
Directions

    Pour the champagne into a punch bowl. Stir in the ginger ale, lemonade concentrate and raspberries. Ladle into champagne glasses or punch cups and serve immediately.

Grandma know how to maintain Champagne’s fizz: She would stir together all the ingredients except the Champagne, then slowly added the champagne but without stirring. She knew that the more she stirred, the less bubbles.
