Grandma's Secret Tip
Grandma's Secret Tip
Grandma knew you had to plan a little bit ahead to make an ice ring for the punch, but it was really quite easy. She filled a ring mold with a thin layer of water, then dropped in fresh cranberries, lime slices and mint sprigs and put the mold in the freezer. When the water was frozen, she filled the mold to the top with water and put it back in the freezer to freeze overnight. To serve, she dipped the pan briefly in hot water and unmolded the ring.
