Grandma's Secret Trick

Grandma's Secret Trick

Since this is such a rich pie, Grandma usually prepared it with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, which she said makes it not-too-sweet. But when baking the pie for those who preferred a sweeter taste, she increased the amount of sugar to 1/2 cup.
