Grandma's Secret Tip
Grandma's Secret Tip
The trick to getting the cake out of the pan effortlessly is to grease and flour it properly. First, use a paper towel to apply a thin layer of shortening to the pan. Next, sprinkle some flour into the greased pan. Tilt the pan, tapping the sides lightly, to coat it evenly with the flour. Turn the pan upside down and tap the sides lightly to remove any excess.
