Grandma's Secret Trick

Grandma's Secret Trick

Grandma knew that the quickest way to seal the edges of the piecrust was to press down on the edges with the prongs of a dinner fork. This common technique also gave Grandma's beautiful pies a distinctive ruffled edge.
