Grandma's Secret Trick
Grandma's Secret Trick
Grandma said that this recipe is so useful because it makes two pies instead of one. She could share one with a friend or neighbor, take both to a bake sale, or serve both if she was expecting a crowd. Sometimes she froze one or both pies, wrapped securely in plastic wrap, for up to two months.
