Grandma's Secret Trick

Grandma's Secret Trick

Grandma discovered a secret about this pie: It can be baked without a pie shell. So if you don't have a pie shell on hand, just pour the filling into a greased glass or ceramic pie dish and bake it as the recipe directs. Scoop it out hot or, if you prefer slices, wait until it cools.
