Grandma's Secret Tip

Grandma's Secret Tip

For a delicate flavor, Grandma often added 1 tablespoon vanilla extract to the sugar syrup mixture as she beat it. When she felt creative, she divided the batch in half and made two different flavors, using lemon, orange or almond.
