Grandma's Secret Trick

Grandma's Secret Trick

When Grandma was in a hurry, she had a shortcut version of this dessert that was lighter tasting, too. She arranged the fruit in the dish, then combined the sour cream, granulated sugar and vanilla extract and spread it on top of the fruit. She sprinkled 1 cup brown sugar on top and chilled the dessert until serving time.
